4 natural gas power generating engines, producing a total of 8 MW, were installed. We designed and implemented the exhaust gas cleaning system, a system that supplies carbon dioxide inside the greenhouse, a system for channelling hot water into the heating system and an automatic control system which communicates with the central climate control system.
Each partner in the project brought significant expertise. Greentech oversaw the project and was responsible for the electric and electronic integration to the existing infrastructure, the electrical panelling and sensor system, as well as the programming for the central control system, including the power generation system. In collaboration with Van Der Hoeven we connected the new facility to the main greenhouse. Finally, MWM supplied and installed equipment and Energon worked on the electrical installation.
